Warm Choice Program*
Available to qualified customers, this year-round service includes a home energy inspection with safety checks on natural gas appliances. Energy efficiency upgrades may also include attic and wall insulation, air sealing, and repair or replacement of natural gas appliances – all at no cost to you. WarmChoice® provided by Columbia Gas of Ohio has an income eligibility guideline of 200% of poverty, services are provided in conjunction with the HWAP program through our 17 Community Action Agencies, making it ideal for coordinating joint service delivery. WarmChoice provides weatherization and baseload services, consumer energy education, and, when needed, gas-fired heating system and water heater repairs and replacements.

What does no-cost weatherization include?
Qualified customers may receive the following:
- Attic and wall insulation
- Air sealing
- Natural gas furnace repair or replacement
- Natural gas water heater repair or replacement
Are you eligible for no-cost weatherization?
If you are a customer whose income is up to 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, you may be eligible. Yearly income guidelines as of January 1, 2023 are listed below.
