CARES (Community Action Responds, Engages, and Supports Recovery)

This program utilizes Client Services Representatives to assist individuals in recovery from substance use disorder with access to recovery support services. The Client Services Representatives will link individuals referred to the program from jail, prison, transition houses, treatment providers, and community agencies to community resources.

How to obtain services:

Once the referral is received, an intake appointment is scheduled to determine the challenges and barriers to recovery. These barriers often include transportation, employment, housing, utility assistance, and legal issues involving probation, community service, and fines. Upon completion of the intake appointment, a recovery plan is created which outlines and prioritizes the areas to be addressed.
